Specialising in soft skills training, leadership, facilitation and
team building, Paul, known as PJ has been described as refreshing,
direct and very enthusiastic. He has a very keen sense in marrying
up the way people behave to how they perform in business and making
small changes to behaviour that make big differences to motivation
and performance.

‘’We knew right away that the way he interacts with
people would make cracking telly. His idea was to make a film using
the techniques he'd usually use on Britian's high flyers for the
more troubled people in society and especially, for the young people
for whom all else seemed to be failing...PJ was witty, charming
and direct.. PJ can speedily, for want of a Shakespearean phrase,
'cut through the crap'. PJ has a style all of his own which makes
excellent viewing, and because he's not full of a pseudo psycho
babble which could so quickly get the viewer reaching for the remote,
he's a natural.’’ Jane Goddard, Producer, BBC.
PJ is the creator of Outstanding Teamwork workshops that have been
used to develop the hallmarks of outstanding teamwork in many businesses.
This became a significant part of the research to developing his
preferred motivational business speech called Champion Behaviours,
which links and aligns your behaviours with those of the top men
and women in business and sport. PJ was part of a ten times World
record Powerboat team and has first hand experience of needing to
use champion behaviours. To this end the speech is flexible and
dynamic and is designed to fit around the needs of you, your people
and your conference theme.
He is ‘one of Europe’s best and most engaging SDI (Strength
Deployment Inventory) trainers’ according to one international
agency director. ‘He is highly motivated and produces results
that empower clients to make a difference, giving participants and
companies excellent return on their investment.’
Alongside his corporate work, PJ also works with professional sports
people helping them with motivation, thought processes, outstanding
behaviour and goal achievement. Their trophies, Olympic medals and
pay cheques are testament to PJ's success.
Currently
the Champion Behaviours speech is being used as a format to set
up a not for profit organisation to help develop ‘champion
behaviours in young people’ who are in danger of exclusion
from school and society. The one-day workshops for 12 children,
aged 11-15 years old, aims to encourage young people to take responsibility
and leadership in their lives. EMG, along with the Police Authority
and other sponsors support this worthy cause. Should you wish to
